If you were on Twitter during July of 2020, you might have witnessed what some were calling the potato fiasco of 2020. If you missed it, here are a few examples: Obviously these tweets are a bit dramatic but they definitely get their point across.  After these tweets, and thousands more, Taco Bell came out with this post 7 months later... I was surprised how long they took to bring back potatoes when so many of their customers were so disappointed by their departure.  Because of the hundreds of tweets I must've seen about taking away their beloved potatoes, Taco Bell was the first company I thought of for this project. After posting about potatoes coming back, their tweets looked more like this: Taco Bell is know as being fast and cheap food for anyone on the go, but it a staple for many of it's customers, whether they're looking for fast and cheap food or not.   "We take pride in making the best Mexican style fast food providing fast, friendly, & accurate service.

Heinz Ketchup decides enough is enough

Since I was young, I have been continually annoyed that hot dogs and hot dogs buns don't come in the same size packages, you always have more hot dogs than buns. Although this is very annoying, I figured it would never change because it allows both companies to sell more of their products and make more money. However, I stumbled upon these articles regarding Heinz Ketchup demanding it be changed.  "Hot dog wieners come in packs of 10. Hot dog buns come in packs of 8. WHY?! As the condiment that has been bringing foods together for over 150 years, we’ve decided enough is enough. That’s why we started the Heinz Hot Dog Pact. We’re calling on Big Bun and Big Wiener companies to find the answer to this hot dog packaging mismatch, once and for all. We need your signatures more than ever.  Hi everyone! My name is Bri Johnson, I am a junior at OSU and now at LBCC as well. I moved back home to Portland for the summer but I am usually located in Corvallis.  I am a Business Administration major and I wanted to take this course to learn more about how to go about marketing to specific audiences and all of the work and details that go into it.  One thing I am very passionate about is traveling and exploring new places. I have visited 6 different countries, and I hope to study abroad next year to explore many more.
